Youth Workshops: My Clothes, My World

MCMW is a comprehensive, curriculum-aligned program, striving to foster a future of environmentally responsible citizens and climate leaders who think critically and act consciously. Through inquiry based learning, MCMW provides students (grades 4 -12) with new knowledge of textile reuse and recycling, upcycling, waste prevention and the "7R’s of Fashion" to help youth make attainable, sustainable changes in their everyday lives.

Adult Workshops: The 7R’s of Fashion

This 2.5 hour workshop helps socially conscious consumers gain a better understanding of where their clothing comes from and the impact on people and planet through an exploration of supply chains and overall life cycles of typical garments.

Participants will get an overview of the "7Rs of Fashion" practices to help them achieve a more sustainable wardrobe while remaining true to their individual style. You will also have the opportunity to network and brainstorm with others on how to reinvent your existing wardrobe.

This workshop is highly customizable and can be tailored to diverse audiences with a variety of backgrounds, knowledge and interests. Popular bookings include employee engagement programs, university student clubs and personal interest social gatherings.
